Free auto-expiring US DID numbers

In my previous post, I’ve shown to you how to get a US DID number which, upon called, will forward the call to a PSTN number. Although the DID number is free, you’ll have to pay for the call forwarding cost.

Instead you can use inumbr which gives you a free DID number that can also forward incoming calls to a US PSTN number for free. Your DID number will automatically expire after the amount of time you specified during sign-up, which can be anything between 24 hours to 1 month. This service is suitable, for example, when you need to post your contact number online but do not want to reveal your personal number to avoid telemarketing calls.
